Sesbania gum powder is obtained or processed from sesbania seeds/. It is originated in India and it is a white milky and loose powder that can be dispersed in water. It is insoluble in alcohol, ketones, ethers and organic solvents. It forms into a viscous solution when dispersed in cold water. It contains 5 to 10 times higher level of viscosity than other natural plant gum.
