During the process of transforming brown rice into white rice through milling process we can obtain a byproduct called rice bran. This rice bran has high health beneficial factors like antioxidants and oil. Traditionally rice bran is further processed for obtaining the oil substance from it which is applied for cooking and this rice bran oil contains low fat and stays safe for those who are not supposed to intake fatty or fried products. The rice bran that is obtained after oil extraction stays less in fat and fiber content as well. The bran that is de oiled is termed as pallets which in turn are found to contain source of amino acids such as phosphorous, lysine, cystine and methionine.
